7 June – Arrive Kilimanjaro / Ngabobo Maasailand
Welcome to Tanzania. After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, we travel to the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro for a gentle introduction to Maasai country and time to unwind after the flight.
8 June – Ngabobo Maasailand
Learn about traditional Maasai knowledge on a guided walk with a local shaman. Spend the day connecting with the Ngabobo community, with optional time alongside local women exploring beadwork and daily life.
9 June – Tarangire National Park
Meet your safari guides and travel by 4WD to Tarangire—home to big skies, baobabs, and elephants. Picnic lunch and your first game drive in the park.
10 June – Tarangire National Park
Full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most underrated parks. Keep watch for giraffe, lions, and prolific birdlife among the baobab-dotted hills.
11 June – Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Explore the diverse habitats of Lake Manyara National Park before heading up to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for sweeping views of this World Heritage Site.
12 June – Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. With a high concentration of resident wildlife, today offers a real chance to see the Big Five in a spectacular setting.
13 June – Serengeti National Park
Travel into the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife regions. Begin game viewing en route across its seemingly endless plains.
14 June – Serengeti National Park
Spend the day tracking the Great Migration and other wildlife as your guides adapt the route based on animal movements and sightings.
15 June – Serengeti National Park
Optional sunrise hot air balloon safari available. Enjoy flexible morning and afternoon game drives or relax at camp and soak in the surrounds.
16 June – Fly to Zanzibar / Stone Town
After a bush breakfast, fly to the island of Zanzibar. In the evening, dine at a rooftop restaurant in the heart of Stone Town.
17 June – Stone Town
Guided walking tour through the historic quarter, followed by a hands-on Swahili cooking experience in a local home.
18 June – Jambiani Beach
Transfer to the quieter southeast coast. Enjoy white sands, swaying palms, and the laid-back rhythm of coastal life.
19 June – Jambiani Beach
Day at leisure. Optional visit to Mwani Zanzibar, a women-led seaweed cooperative, or explore further afield with spice tours or forest walks.
20 June – Jambiani Beach
Another free day to relax, swim, read, or wander the coastline at your own pace.
21 June – Depart Zanzibar
Morning at leisure before returning to Stone Town and transferring to the airport for your onward flight.
